Goodbye Microsoft

Goodbye Microsoft - till we meet again: Building 16 Atrium - 10 years at Microsoft as of this year. This is the Building 16 Atrium as it was the morning of my last day at Microsoft. I start a new job on Monday. I have enjoyed my time at Microsoft and will miss several of the people I have gotten to know over the years. I hope to work with many of them again and you never can tell - I might some day end up back at Microsoft. For now though we have parted ways.

I start a new job on Monday after 10 years inside of Microsoft. It has been a lot of fun being a tester, a developer, a program manager and a consultant. I've worked on many great products, and with many great people. Can't wait to see Office 12 on the shelves.I can't wait to start my new job and I will certainly share more about it as I settle in and make some progress in my new role at my new company. Thanks to all the Microsoft folks that took me out to lunch and stopped by or otherwise communicated to me good wishes over the last couple weeks!

Went down to Portland for a great weekend and stopped in at the Northwest Region of the Ferrari Club of America's Annual Meeting. Afterward we got a special treat of visiting Ron Tonkin's private garage. What a pleasure it is to drool on his cars. :-)
