The Amphibicar was fun to see in person, the centerpiece of the 1933 Mercedes was AMAZING. Rest of the cars were a mixed lot with the usual Ferrari Club gang representing a nice range of cars from a 330 and and a 275 through a couple 308s, a 512bbi, and a 355.
I met a photographer Robby Paine (sp?) that was just great – wheelchair bound as a result of a hit-and-run accident at 18 he has limited mobility but infinite patience and persistance – check out the Tulley’s restruant in Magnolia center and you’ll see his artwork on their walls. I couldn’t find an email address for him so if he happens to read this, please drop me a line.

One of the Mercedes’ wheels that I certainly wouldn’t want to have to polish to this perfection!!

A long time ago, a family friend owned a car museum. He had one of these amphicars. 0-60 time is about 30 seconds, and its not a very good boat either.
