High school wrestling tournament… this was easily one of the darkest gyms I’ve ever been in - think TMAX 3200 pushed two stops to get 1/125 at f2.8 with a 180mm.

That just looks like someone will be hurting in a couple more seconds.

Old picture from a high school swim meet - shot at the YWCA pool in Hartford, CT somewhere in 1991/1992. It was a dark pool - the film was TMAX 3200 pushed two stops to get 1/250 sec, 300mm/f2.8 wide open at 11~12 feet.

The ropes courses used by businesses, schools, and other organizations in order to promote team building are a lot of fun to see poeple really get over some big fears. This particular event on the ropes course involved jumping off the plank and trusting that the safety line + pulleys + harness will keep [...]

It is always amazing to me what the human body can do when pushed to extremes… this guy’s nickname should be “plastic man”. This is from the 1991 US Olympic Festival in LA.
